DIAMOND SHOWGIRL CF was due on May 24th, but was ready to rock our world on May 21^st. She was up and nursing in 25 minutes and has been going strong ever since. She is friendly, inquisitive and delightful. Her conformation is just phenomenal for such a young sprite. She is an embryo transfer foal and a very tolerant AQHA mare, Vanessa, delivered her and is mothering her well.

Diamond Showgirl is by the Elite Danish Stallion, Diamond. He stands at Horizon Farms and is owned by Meryl and Richard Cannon in Illinois.

Her dam is a top Kirov Trakehner mare named Oshoga. She is by Orech (by Hockey) out of an Almanach I mare. Oshoga is approved with the DV and is a DH mare. Diamond actually carries a high percentage of Kirov blood, Abglanz/Termit on both the sire and dam lines and Donouwind/Pregel. It will be a journey to watch this future athlete develop.

DIAMOND MARQUIS CF was due on June 11th. She is a full sibling to diamond showgirl, the embryo transfer filly carried by Vanessa, Marquis was carried by her natural mother, Oshoga, Thinking that we were in for a long haul foal watch with Oshoga, Art insisted that we needed better sleeping cots for the barn, Carson and I left for WalMart around 9pm on June 5th.

Around 11pm we were making our “beds” and Oshoga started walking the foaling paddock fence. A front of bad thunderstomrs were rolling in. I know she didn’t want to be outside, so I brought her in. Just before 2AM, I heard her water break and rushed around to her stall door just in time to see the lovely bay filly arrive, just like her full sibling, Showgirl, she was up and nursing in no tome,

The similarity in the conformation of the fillies is amazing, even with the foreknowledge that they do have the same sire and dam, as always, predicting the color was fun, this fine filly is a as sweet as pie and now enjoys her days with her playmate, showgirl and their moms.

GWENIVERE CF is out of Longmynd Lady, a TB Steeplechase mare originally imported from Great Britain. Lady went on to become s Show Jumper in Sweden. Gwenivere CF also has in her bloodlines such famous foundation horses as Hockey, Pomeranets, Welt, and  Duo through her sire Otschag, imported from Russia. Gwenie is turning gray with white legs and a large blaze, so we are expecting her to become a “white swan” very soon. She is very beautiful filly with bold movement and great talent for show jumping. We believe that she will fulfill the legacy that her pedigree predicts.

PADRUSKA CF is out the imported mare, Poljanka. Poljanka was born in Russia at the Kirow Stud and is by the Elite Russian Trakehner, Novator. Padruska has very good, completely Russian bloodlines and she has been added to Russian Hanoverian studbook. She is one of three fillies born on April 15^th! She is very strong with large and rhythmic gaits with a great deal of balance and suspension for such a young age. She scored well at the RPSI inspection this year. She looks like a carbon copy of Ladimir except they wear their socks on different feet! This filly might be for sale.

ORLEANS CF is out the imported mare, Poljanka. Poljanka was born in Russia at the Kirow Stud and is by the Elite Russian Trakehner, Novator. Orleans CF is a youngest foal at our farm! He has arrived on 7th of June! He is very tall, dark bay with tree socks star and small stripe. He has nice shoulder and already shows strong and rhythmic gaits.  Orleans is a second foal by Otschag and out of Poljanka, last year we had nice filly Padruska CF by the same parents!

This filly is already 4 month old but we still thinking about her name. Right now we call her BONAFIDE. She is out of Bona. Bona was imported from the Kirow Farm in Russia and is  Trakehner. Bona is by Novator, the elite Trakehner stallion. This filly is Bona’s second foal by Otschag. First one was nice bay colt Obereg, born in 2004. The filly is very good-looking  with two high socks and very interesting forehead mark!  We hope that she also will have mahogony-bay color is her full brother.

This is very nice filly, tall, light bay with a funny boomerang on her head and two socks in back.

Charisma CF April 11, 2006

Charisma was born just before dawn on April 11th. She stood and nursed quickly and showed early on that she knew the correct way to get along in the world! She has the large, lovely eye of her sire and the bright chestnut coat of her dam. Her three stockings call attention to her already vivid movement. The heart on hr face gave us an immediate hint of her personality. She is sweet and compliant by nature and already deep in our hearts.

CORINA is a very correct Hanoverian filly. She is Hunter Futurity nominated. Her sire is the very successful Hanoverian Hunter Champion, Cabalito. Her dam, Allura is an A-Line Hanoverian mare through Armin to Absatz. In fact both her sire and dam boast the powerful Absatz. She has a lovely demeanor, impeccable manners and jumping should be in her future!
